Belton Hollums









Belton Hollums of Peachtree City, Georgia, formerly a long term resident of East Point, Georgia,  passed away at the age of 66, on June 6, 2006 after a long fight with cancer. Mr. Hollums is best remembered for his civic contribution to the Southside of Atlanta. He was President of Cawthon-Hollums Properties, and was a successful real estate developer, builder, and broker. Mr. Hollums was a graduate of the Russell High School class of 1958, and he was also Director of the Georgia Tribe of the Eastern Cherokee. His interests included genealogy, Civil War History, and he was also a local historian. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, and will be missed by his family, friends, and employees. He is survived by his devoted, loving wife, Pamela Hollums, his sister and brother-in-law, Lynda Hollums Peterson and Edward Peterson, his children Mark Hollums and Mark's wife Page, Kirk Hollums and Kirk's wife Michelle, Matt Hollums, and April Baum and her husband Matt. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kirk Hollums, Jr., Ryan Hollums, Alex Hollums, Kristen Hollums, Ethan Baum and Summer Grace Baum. A memorial service for Mr. Hollums will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Peachtree City Christian Church, located at 500 Kedron Drive, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269.
