James Russell (Russ) Alsabrook, age 69, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away Saturday April 3, 2010 at his residence.  Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Chaplain James Green officiating.  Mr. Alsabrook was retired from the Alabama Department of Corrections.  He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Martha H. Alsabrook of Millbrook, AL, daughters Carol Glover of Weturmpka, AL, Sherry Gaither of Talladega, AL, sons Charles Alsabrook of Elmore, AL, and Richard Smith of Katchucan, AK, brothers Kenneth Alsabook of Keystone Heights, FL, and Walter Alsabrook of Decatur, GA.  The family would like to send a heartfelt "Thank You" to Carolyn, Lori, Evelyn, Brenda, Freddy and Felecia for their love and care given to Mr. Alsabrook during his illness.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice of Montgomery, AL.
